If you have a piece of work recently turned, are currently working on something or are planning a piece in the near future, then why not enter the Strictly Woodturning Gallery Competition for delegates? This is a great opportunity, not only to display your work to a wide audience, but also to win our new Evolution Chuck with a range of accessories worth over £500!

Competition Rules of Entry

Eligibility

Entry to the competition will open once you have received your ticket. Only work by the entrant will be eligible for entry into the competition.
The entrant must be a delegate at Strictly Woodturning 2012 and will be required to quote their 'Order Number' on the entry form.

Size
The size of the piece of work must not exceed 400mm in any direction. Pieces of work that exceed these dimensions will not be accepted.
The organisers' decision in this matter is absolute and final.

Entries
Only one entry is permitted per competitor.

Application
An entry form must be completed by each competitor. Please find the form below or click here.

Photographs
A photograph of the piece of work should be submitted with the entry form, preferably by email in the form of a jpeg file. This will enable the photograph to be featured in the online Gallery. The organisers reserve the right to use these photographs and any taken during the event to publicise the competition and its results.

Description of entry
A description of each entry must be submitted as indicated on the entry form. The description together with the photograph of the entry will be featured in the Gallery on the Strictly Woodturning website.

Deadline for entry forms
Applications should be made as early as possible but not later than 12 midnight on 26th October 2012.

Submission of entries
Competitors should bring their entry with them on Thursday 1st November 2012. The organisers will provide each entrant with a receipt upon delivery of the entry to the competition at the Axe Valley Community College. The organisers will provide a display card for each entry.

Insurance
Entrants are advised and expected to insure their entries while they are at the Axe Valley Community College.
The organisers do not accept any responsibility or liability for the insurance of any competition entry.

Voting
Each delegate will be issued with a voting slip to vote for his/her favourite piece of work. Voting will close at 1315 on Friday 2nd November 2012 and the votes will be counted. The winners will be announced and prizes awarded later that day.

After the event
Photographs of the winning pieces of work together with a short biography of each entrant will be displayed on the Strictly Woodturning website.
